Compiler used to build LLVM
Hello, We’d like to keep track of which clang version was used to build our LLVM binaries. We use cmake and ninja with clang to build. What do you people think would be the cleanest way to know which version of clang is used, on a user’s machine, to build those binaries. I’m hoping to script this. I was thinking that getting cmake/ninja to spit out this information, if possible, would probably be

[LLVMdev] [BUG] Incorrect ASCII escape characters on Mac
Hi, The bug originated when one of our tests failed with an answer-mismatch on Mac, after upgrading to XCode 6.2. The internal IR after all our transforms, and just before it hits the final LLVM lowering is identical on Mac and Linux: var t6 : int8_T{col}[10] = {34, -48, 18, -12, 33, 0, 21, -7, -20, -31}; The LLVM lowering itself doesn't try to do anything smart. When we dumpModule, we

Tessellation shaders get MEM_OUT_OF_BOUNDS errors / missing triangles
One additional observation that I just made is that on GK208, the blob apparently doesn't use the result of S2R Rx, SR_INVOCATION_ID wholesale in TCS. It either passes it through a I2I.S32.S32 Rx, |Rx| (i.e. absolute value), or even more paradoxically, shl 2; shr 2; which removes the top *2* bits, rather than just the top 1. However I see no such behaviour on GF108. I'm going to test out
