Cisco registration problem with 1.8.3.3
I am having a problem registering my cisco phones which is exactly like that described in http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2011-May/262306.html except that I am on Asterisk 1.8.3.3 and using sip level POS3-07-4-00 The symptoms are: o 7960 lines show [X] o Outbound calls can be made from the phone, including call pickup of inbound calls, but not to it. o Trace shows REGISTER

sizing a print server for 10'000 users
...the print queue defined. What happen with the connection ? do I assume Samba will see 10'000 permanent connections ? Or only when printing ? And then, when several client submit print jobs at the same time, does Samba serialize the calls to my script ? Or should I assume I can be called 10'000x in parallel (assuming 10'000 users click "Print" at the same time) ? I'm as well interested at building a small "admin" web page where one can see the queue, the last 10 job entries, the load, possibly a usage graph, etc. Hints from a similar setup are welcome. problem with deliver segfaulting

winbindd panic daemon dies
Hi All, can anyone make any sense of the error below, please advise if I need to log this as a bug but I'm not sure how to further diagnose what is happening.
